The Kypoth online store is coming soon
Kypoth Web
This site is written by me, with a little bit of help from the web. I use self-taught CSS styled HTML (now updated to 4.01), coded in Notepad with some Javascript and php included to improve things like banners and forms. I'm not that worried about validation, especially when things like the 'target' redirect fail your code (I like it when external sites open in another window!). Also, why use 'strong' when 'b' did the same thing? However, that's no excuse for untidy code, so I do try and make sure tags are closed, etc. I also think many websites are extremely over-designed, I'm from the keep-it-simple camp. Most company websites should be equivalant to an on-line brochure, and judging by the response that some of my business clients give to the quotes they have received from full time website developers, I think a lot of people miss the mark on this.
Anyway, rant over! Credits are due to the following websites that are an invaluable resource if you want to start writing your own site.
w3schools.com http://www.w3schools.com/ - excellent web building reference.

Accessibility
The web should be the one place that is easily accessible to disabled users. The internet can only offer an improvement in access to things like shopping and services, after all, being blind or physically disabled must make getting outside more of a challenge than it is for me. So while this site may not offer you much, I have tried to make it work with accessibility in mind, in order to use the knowledge on other sites. If you have any problems with screen readers or accessibility tools, please let me know where I can improve.
Kypoth Systems Ltd
Kypoth Systems Ltd is just me, Alex de Salis. I decided to go it alone after 15+ years of IT in the City, feeling slightly concerned that their system wasn't really viable, which appears to have borne true seeing the mess they've made over the last few years. Being self-employed can be a lonely business, so there's the dogs as well (3 Vizslas). They are at least half the reason I'm self-employed so they might as well come on the payroll, just don't tell the taxman. As anyone who works with their dogs around will know, they do help towards a stress-free environment but I'm not sure if I can claim back healthcare allowances on them. I'll find a pic and stick it up soon.
